Since 2017, the Spitzer Dämmerschoppen (Summer Evening Drinks) have been inviting people to enjoy life every Thursday at dusk. Against the unique backdrop of Spitz's most beautiful cultural sites, an evening full of music, conviviality, and culinary delights awaits you.

Every week, various squares in Spitz transform into atmospheric stages for regional bands and traditional costume ensembles , providing the best entertainment with traditional sounds and modern interpretations. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere, let the music enchant you, and experience the summer in a special way!

The twilight get-togethers take place at various historical and atmospheric locations, which create the special flair of the event:

• Spitz Maritime Museum – a place that brings the long history of Danube shipping to life.

• Donaulände – with direct views of the Danube, perfect for a musical evening under the open sky.

• Spitz Castle - a historic gem that offers a unique setting for concerts.

• Church Square - the heart of Spitz, surrounded by historic buildings and a baroque atmosphere.

• Pfarrhof – an idyllic courtyard with its special acoustics, providing unforgettable musical moments.

The Spitzer Dämmerschoppen are run by Spitzer clubs and the Spitz Tourist Association , who put together a varied program with great commitment and attention to detail.

With your visit, you are making a valuable contribution: The net proceeds from the events go directly to the preservation and maintenance of the cultural and natural sites in Spitz , in order to preserve this special place for future generations.

The Spitzer Dämmerschoppen not only represent culture and conviviality, but also a respectful approach to our environment . That's why we focus on sustainable solutions:

• Little waste : We take care to avoid waste and rely on environmentally friendly packaging.

• Eco Line Products : For straws, napkins, and paper plates, we rely on sustainable “Eco Line” alternatives.

• Reusable instead of disposable : Our drinks are served in glasses and mostly reusable containers to reduce plastic waste. Wine and beer bottles are recycled and reused.

• Regional products : Our food and drinks are largely sourced from the region to support the local economy and avoid long transport routes.
